Many standard window coverings include cords for raising, lowering, and adjusting shade or shutter angle. Although common, corded window coverings can pose a safety risk in homes with young children and pets. Keep reading to learn three of the best benefits of replacing your corded window coverings with cordless alternatives.

1. Home Safety

Cordless window coverings help create a safe environment for pets and kids. According to the United States Consumer Protection and Safety Commission, corded window coverings are one of the top five hidden household hazards in American homes.

2. Ease of Use

Have your hands full? Cordless window treatments make it easy to raise and lower your shades with just one hand! Typically, there is a lift mechanism in either the headrail or bottom rail of the shade, which allows you to raise and lower them easily and evenly.

3. Simple & Clean Appearance

Cordless window coverings simply look great in your home. Eliminate the visual distraction of cords for clean, unobstructed views, both when your shades are open and closed. We have cordless lift options available in many popular styles, including cellular shades, pleated shades, clean line roller shades, and more.
