Kid-Friendly Window Treatments

Safe Window Treatments for Children’s Rooms Are Available to California Homeowners

Window Treatments for Children's RoomsAre you expecting a new baby and decorating a home nursery? Or are you redesigning one of your kids’ bedrooms? Either way, you need to make an educated decision about the best window treatments to choose to ensure their safety. Traditional blinds and shades are opened and closed with a cord, which can pose a safety hazard to your young loved ones.

Here at 3 Blind Mice Window Coverings, we don’t just sell window treatments — we specialize in providing solutions for California homeowners. Where children’s bedrooms, nurseries, and play areas are concerned, we offer a range of cordless window treatments to minimize safety risks.

Child-Safe Shades & Blinds

We offer a range of child-friendly window treatments to provide the functionality you want and the safety features you need. For example, we can custom design:

  • Cordless shades — Our cellular and Roman shades contain no cords that could pose a strangulation hazard. Simply pull the shades up or down, depending on how you want light to enter the room — no cord needed!
  • Motorized blinds — Our blinds and shades are both available with motorized controls to eliminate cords. Use a keypad, remote control, or your cell phone to open and close your window treatments, or program them to open and close at select times throughout the day.

Some of our nursery window treatments are certified “Best for Kids” by the Window Covering Manufacturers Association. The “Best for Kids” program was designed to ensure child-safe window coverings, and we’re honored to offer these kid-friendly treatments to our valued customers in California.
