3 Blind Mice helps out the YMCA by donating new window treatments and installation for their two Oz shelters. The shelters provide a temporary home for runaway, homeless, troubled youths and their families. The YMCA Youth & Family Services Oz Shelters provide temporary shelter and counseling for runaway, homeless, troubled youths, ages 12 through 17, and their families. Residential Site Manager, Chuck Delong, was in the midst of repainting the shelters and was planning to do the install-it-yourself blinds. Hearing of his efforts, owner Scot Dietz of 3 Blind Mice coordinated the window treatment makeover for the organizations’ two shelters. Hunter Douglas, who has an office in Poway, donated 28 blinds, and 3 Blind Mice provided the installation. Installer Paul Martin and owner Scot Dietz generously gave their time and talent to complete the project. Marc Lopilato, a salesperson for 3 Blind Mice, donated his time for measuring both shelters.
