What sparked your journey into the world of window covering design?

• I embarked on my design journey over 15 years ago, shifting from a career in healthcare to pursue my passion for the arts and home improvement. Becoming a window treatment designer felt like a natural progression in my quest to become a total home design expert.

How do you craft custom designs that seamlessly blend with your clients’ spaces?”

• Active listening is key to understanding my clients’ needs and analyzing the energy of their space. By offering personalized designs aligned with their aesthetic preferences and functional requirements, I ensure a perfect fit for their home.

What’s your favorite window covering trend at the moment? 

• My favorite window covering trend is the use of natural materials like cotton, linen, wood, and woven grass. These organic elements not only add visual appeal but also contribute to a healing atmosphere within the home.

Balancing beauty and functionality—how do you do it?

• Balancing aesthetics and functionality is effortless with the wide range of options available at 3 Blind Mice. Leveraging my skills and expertise, I seamlessly integrate beautiful window treatments that enhance both the appearance and utility of a space.

What’s your go-to palette for adding that wow factor?

• I gravitate towards earth tones and natural materials such as wood, grasses, linen, and cotton. I enjoy creating contrast by pairing dark tones with lighter elements, and I’m not afraid to incorporate bold prints for a statement.  

Take us through your collaboration process—how do you bring dreams to life?

• Collaboration is key to bringing my clients’ design visions to life. I encourage open communication, actively seeking input from clients about their preferences, inspirations, and desired level of boldness in the final design.

Keeping up with the design Joneses—how do you stay ahead of the curve?

• I stay updated on industry trends and innovations through continued education, social media, and exploring art and architecture. By studying the works of renowned designers and architects, I draw inspiration to continually evolve my design approach.
